LODGING RIDGE VIEW HOTEL- LOWVILLE, NY

Nearest airports- Watertown (45 minute drive) OR Syracuse (1.5 hour drive)

Registration will open on January 5th, 2023.

Items to bring:

  • Camera/Phone Charger/Cell Phone

  • Writing utensils

  • All personal toiletries

  • Casual attire(Short and t-shirts for all instruction time. Classrooms will be have air-conditioning; the school labs do not, and may be warm so plan your attire from warm summer weather.)

  • Comfortable closed toe shoes(sneakers are fine)

  • Light jacket, sweatshirt,Raincoat

  • Laptop computer with charger, and administrative rights

Registration fee includes:

  • Lodging in a double room (single room for an additional fee)

  • Conference materials

  • Conference meals provided during in person institute

  • CASE Certification fee

  • CASE Polo or similar




Institute participants may have free time to explore beautiful upstate New York. Lowville sits in the Tug Hill Region of NY and is a ½ hour from the New York State FFA Camp Oswegatchie, an hour from the St. Lawrence Seaway and the 1,000 Islands; an hour from historic Old Forge; two hours from Lake Placid, home of the Adirondack High Peaks, Whiteface Mountain, and Olympic Village. For the more ambitious, you can take a 5.5 hour (each way) overnight trip to Manhattan. Each participant will have their room at the Ridge View Lodge for the entire duration of the Institute.  All free time activities (including meals) will be the responsibility of participants.
