*All activities and dates will be reviewed and updated
based on CDC, Local Heath, and Governmental Policies
Q: Will the regional visioning sessions that were cancelled for 3/17, 3/18, 3/19, and 3/25 be rescheduled?
A: It is our desire to reschedule in-person visioning sessions with teachers, administrators, community members, students, and business & industry partners. However, no future dates will be scheduled until we have more consistent and clear guidance from the CDC and local health officials on the ability to travel and host group meetings.
Q: Have you thought of an electronic survey to collect feedback?
A: Yes! It’s been our intention all along to capture feedback electronically from those who were not able to join us for the in-person meetings. We will still be creating an electronic survey to share with our stakeholders.
Q: How will I know when the survey is available?
A: You should expect to see it announced on the Agricultural Education and the Agriculture in the Classroom list serves, along with being posted to our social media outlets. You can feel free to share it with anyone who may have a vested interest in helping us shape the next 30 years of agricultural education in New York.
Q: Is all visioning work halted for the time being?
A: No, facilitators will work with the elected leadership of NYAAE to begin virtual data collection during this time of social distancing as an initial step.
Q: Who do I contact if I have questions?
A: You can always reach out to Derek Hill (dhill@cornell.edu) or Katie Carpenter (kse45@cornell.edu).
