COVID-19: Ag. Education Incentive Grant for NEW Programs (only) at State FFA Convention

Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the Ag. Incentive Grant Workshop for New Programs at the State FFA Convention on 5/15/2020 as scheduled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Below is an outline of how the Ag. Incentive Grant Workshop for New Programs will be facilitated this year.
On Monday June 1st, we will be hosting a virtual meeting to discuss end-of-grant reporting requirements. This session will take the place of the in-person meeting that was to be held on May 15, 2020 during the State FFA Convention. Since teachers, administrators, and students did not return to their physical school buildings, the virtual meeting will be voluntary and will be recorded. At this meeting we will be asking for a brief report on how grant implementation has progressed. The schools that received an “Agricultural Education Incentive Grant for New Programs” in the 2019-2020 school year will also receive an invitation to participate in the Grant Workshop at the State FFA Convention in 2021.
End of year reporting and submitting receipts will be explained on the June 1st virtual meeting and spending has been extended through July 31, 2020.

For this reason, this virtual meeting will be MANDATORY in order to remain in compliance with the grant contract and will be recorded. At this meeting we will be asking for a brief report on how grant implementation has progressed. The schools that received an “Agricultural Education Incentive Grant for New Programs” in the 2019-2020 school year will also receive an invitation to participate in the Grant Workshop at the State FFA Convention in 2021.
