Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the State Officer Selection process on 4/2-4/4/2020 as scheduled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Below is an outline of how the State Officer Selection process will be facilitated this year. We will be holding a modified version of this process on 4/25/2020. Instead of seven rounds, candidates will take the exam (ahead of time online on 4/24/2020), participate in the one on one, stakeholder, and personal rounds. These rounds will all happen on 4/25/2020. Unfortunately, due to the continued effects of the COVID-19 outbreak we have determined that we will not be facilitating the State Officer selection process in-person this year. In place of in-person interviews this year, we will facilitate this process virtually on the same date, 4/25/2020.
The schedule will be as follows:
Committee Training: 7:30-9am
One on One Round: 9-11:45am
Lunch Break: 11:45am-12:30pm
Committee/Stakeholder Training: 12:30-1pm
Stakeholder Round: 1-3:45pm
Afternoon Break: 3:45-4pm
Personal Round: 4-6:30pm
Dinner Break: 6:30-7:15pm
Committee Deliberation: 7:30-9:30pm (approximately)
Live Announcement to follow via social media (No public announcement of the results onsite) All committee members and candidates will be required to attend a training on how to use the online platforms in advance. Additional information will be sent directly to each candidate and committee member in the coming weeks.

Instead of seven rounds, candidates will take the exam (ahead of time online on 4/24), participate in the one on one, stakeholder, and personal rounds. These rounds will all happen on 4/25. Our first preference will be to facilitate this process in person on the Cornell University Campus if it is determined safe to do so. This is something that we will discuss with the CALS University leadership, local health and governmental officials, and we will notify our committee members and candidates once a decision has been made. We will ask each committee member and candidate to inform us by 4/20/2020 if they can participate in this process in person. We will also notify all candidates and committee members if we are able to host this event in person no later than 4/21/2020. We understand that you may not have these answers at this time. We will be looking into lodging options as we get closer to the event in case someone will need to stay the night before or after the process. In the event that we cannot host this event in person, we will facilitate this process virtually on the same date, 4/25/2020. The schedule will be as follows:
